How long does it take to become a PADI Instructor?
To become a scuba instructor with PADI you need to have been certified as an entry-level diver with any agency for at least six months before you can take the instructor course. Also, you need to have an advanced diver certification, a rescue certification, and a Divemaster or Dive Leader certification.

Infinity2Diving provides career guidance, resume review, interview prep, and networking with dive centers in Tulum and internationally to help newly certified instructors find placements.

At Infinity2Diving we have onsite accommodations, from budget dorm room to private studios for your stay. 

Courses are primarily offered in English and Spanish. Private multilingual instruction can be arranged on request.

IDC includes confined water, open water teaching exercises, student evaluations, and emergency skills. You’ll complete multiple teaching simulations and instructor-level dive scenarios to meet PADI standards.

Prerequisites: PADI Divemaster (or qualifying instructor-level certification), minimum 18 years old, 60 logged dives for IDC entry (100+ recommended for quality experience), current CPR/First Aid and medical clearance.
