Why take the PADI Deep Diver specialty?
Depth Limits: The course focuses on dives between 18 to 40 meters (60 to 130 feet), which is considered the recreational diving limit. You will learn how to plan and execute dives within these depth limits while managing the associated risks.
Dive Planning: The course covers the importance of proper dive planning for deep dives. You will learn about gas management, dive tables, and dive computer usage to ensure safe and efficient dives. You will also learn about factors such as nitrogen narcosis, oxygen toxicity, and decompression sickness and how to mitigate these risks.

You will learn about specialized gear such as dive lights, redundant air sources, and dive reels for navigation.
