PADI Tec Rec Courses

PADI Technical Courses in Tulum

PADI TecRec® courses give you the techniques and procedures required for diving beyond the recreational limits. But remember: technical diving isn’t for everyone. If you embrace adrenaline-pumping challenges and are willing to accept the risks, responsibilities and obligations, you’ll find tec diving one of the most rewarding experiences you’ll ever have.

5 courses to IMPROVE YOUR SCUBA DIVING SKILLS

The PADI Tec Deep course is designed for experienced divers who are ready to take their skills to the next level. This course allows divers to extend their depth and time limits beyond recreational diving, opening up new opportunities for exploration and adventure.
The third part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program is Tec 50. As a Tec 50 diver, you show that you’ve developed competency as a tec diver and have the skills to dive to a maximum of 50 meters/165 feet.
The PADI Tec 45 course is the second part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. You’ll extend your depth limit to 45 meters/145 feet and learn to plan and execute repetitive decompression dives using a single stage/decompression cylinder.
The PADI Tec 40 course is where you transition from recreational scuba diving to technical diving. It’s a great place to start because it’s the first subdivision of the full PADI Tec Diver course and bridges the gap between no stop diving and full technical deep decompression diving.
The Tec Sidemount Diver course is a great way to get started with technical diving. Sidemount, which places all your cylinders on your sides is growing in popularity because of easier equipment transportation when topside, reduced lower back strain, and the ability to monitor all your regulators.
