What’s Included
The DM application fee of $125usd is not included in the above cost and has to be paid to PADI with a credit card at the end of the program. PADI requires that each Divemaster candidate must own a personal copy of an RDP (Recreational Dive Planner), and eRDPML (electronic Recreational Dive Planner Multi-Level), pocket mask, and surface signaling device (you can buy these before you come or with us here).
What will you learn?
Phase One: THE DIVING PHASE (10 days)
Use what you have learned and put it into practice and gain experience. You will get to dive in the ocean and Cenotes. You will also get the chance to learn how to maintain equipment, join in our beach clean ups and much more!
Phase Two: THE PROFESSIONAL PHASE
Once you have gained experience on our dive sites – you will adventure into the next levels of recreational scuba diving beginning with the PADI Divemaster program. You will be working closely with PADI Instructors throughout this program, you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities on your own and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster means you are halfway to becoming a PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
Schedule:
You will be with us at the dive shop 5 days per week to assist and join activities at the shop. The schedule will be provided when you arrive depending on your current experience level.

- Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent), and submit proof of CPR and First Aid and Secondary Care training within the past 24 months. (or equivalent from another training organization.
- To join us we require you to have a minimum of 30 logged dives however to start the PADI divemaster Course you must have 40 open water dives but we will get you there within the first week!
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be in good physical condition for diving and submit a medical exam form signed by a physician.
